Rag is one of the best things you can get involved with at Loughborough. It is a student-run organisation that raises money for charity - Loughborough’s is the largest and most successful Rag in the country which last year made over £900,000 for loads of amazing causes! You can get involved by collecting money on Rag raids and joining in with your hall events such as the slave auction in Freshers’ Week, but also in larger uni-wide events – challenges such as skydiving or climbing the UK’s five highest peaks, social events including the beer festival, bonfire and awesome end of term parties or the annual Rag week in October! There is something for everyone, and your hall reps will be happy to chat to you about it and answer any questions you have. Faraday hall alone raised over £45,000 last year and this year we are aiming to raise even more so we can dominate in Rag as well as everything else!
